Air France received two awards from Skytrax: World’s Most Improved Airline and, for the second consecutive year, Best First Class Airline Lounge Dining.
These awards were presented to the Company at the World Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show (Paris-Le Bourget).
On this occasion, receiving these awards, Alexandre de Juniac, Chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM said: “These awards underline the desire that drives Air France to offer even more exceptional products and services to all our customers. Committed to a vast move upmarket of all its products and services, Air France has received the World’s Most Improved Airline award. The Company is investing more than 550 million euros to offer all its passengers an exceptional travel experience, both at the airport and on board. 44 long-haul Boeing 777 are being gradually equipped with new cabin classes with optimum comfort. Furthermore, a new leather seat is being gradually installed on 24 Airbus A319 and 25 Airbus A320 on the European medium-haul network. Seamless services at the airport, new gourmet delights and a more flexible offer for business trips complement this move upmarket. For the second consecutive year, Air France received the award for Best First Class Airline Lounge Dining. Its La Première lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle has established itself as a world reference for the quality of its service, by offering the best in terms of fine French dining. The restaurant offers a range of dishes signed by Alain Ducasse and the finest wines from the Air France wine cellar. A bar is also available for customers, offering a range of delicious cocktails.
