Chef Ángel León was awarded with his second Michelin star. Known as “chef of the sea” and owner of Aponiente in Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), received the award five years after getting the first.

The awards ceremony was held Wednesday night at the hotel Los Monteros in Marbella, this is the first time the awards were held in Spain, during which he participated in the development of the cocktail with the rest of Malaga Michelin-starred chefs.

Thus, the concept of Aponiente is consolidated in the international culinary scene and pushes further the chef intentions, who prepares changes in his restaurant with a new location on spring of 2015. Aponiente will move to Puerto Escondido Street in tribute to the legendary venue that opened in 2007 in the city of Cadiz.
