The affiliated of the French museum opens on Saturday March 28th
Countdown. Only 10 days remain to open the doors of the Centre Pompidou Málaga and the capital of the Costa del Sol will host a representation of the art collection from the French Centre Pompidou. It will be artwork from the XX and XXI centuries. It is the first affiliated from the museum outside France.
Among other artworks, highlights Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Francis Bacon and René Magritte.
Everything is ready for the opening on the 28th, coinciding with Easter. The artworks have already arrived at Muelle Uno, a newly renovated port area of the city that has become a major tourist spot.
Initially, the museum will host from five years a permanent collection, including two to three temporary exhibitions and a space for children and youth workshops.
