The International Airports Council gives this international award based on user surveys
The airport of Murcia-San Javier (MJV) has been awarded by the International Airports Council (ACI) as the best airport in the world in its category for 2014. The award “Best Airport With Fewer than 2 Million Passengers per Year” is given based on surveys realized every three months to different users who frequently travel to various locations and with different airlines.
The rated is based, among other, are the quality of check-in or the facility, the adequacy of treatment facilities or staff to travelers.
