The Asturian towns of Villaviciosa and Tazones have created a route through the locations of the now famous Christmas advertisement
The Christmas Lottery advert in Spain is once again a success going far beyond television.
The towns used as a film set have taken advantage of the ad’s appeal and created a tourist route through the locations.
The Tourism Promotion & Development Service of the Mancomunidad Comarca la Sidra, which includes Villaviciosa and Tazones, has created a simple tourist itinerary through a total of 14 locations that can be easily visited during the Christmas days.
The route can be checked in advance using this link that provides a geolocalised map together with still images to help in recognising the enclaves.
The idea with this route is to share and promote awareness about these Asturian towns and enhance film location tourism in the area.
