Some of the coolest coworking spaces around the world

As a digital nomad, trying to get work done in a hotel can be isolating, not to mention difficult if your neighbors won’t stop shouting at one another through paper-thin walls.

Across the world, coworking provides a hip solution for independent workers, with locations ranging from tiki huts in the middle of jungles to swank urban art centers.

Here are a few we enjoy:

Hubud, (Bali, Indonesia): Just a few feet down the road from a monkey forest, Hubud’s bamboo office has one of the best Wi-Fi signals in Ubud (though we’re not quite sure how much that means), as well as an organic cafe that serves green juice and other healthy goodies.

Brooklyn Boulders (Somerville, Massachusetts): The Active Collaborative Workspace at Brooklyn Boulders is perched at the peak of a 22 foot-high climbing wall. Entrance is included in membership and day passes.

Urban Station (Buenos Aires, Argentina): This chic, urban workspace offers 17 locations across not only Buenos Aires, Argentina, but also Mexico, Turkey, Chile, and Colombia. Spaces include such amenities as outdoor terraces, bicycles, and movie theaters.

Converge (Denver, Colorado): Denver itself is of course a selling point for this collaborative workspace. Beyond that, the Colorado hippies at Converge like to think of it as a “friendship incubator” that strives to develop a community of “culture shapers.”

Punspace (Chang Mai, Thailand): With two locations in Chang Mai, Punspace offers the usual office amenities like flat screen TVs, comfortable chairs, and supplies. The biggest selling point is bragging rights: who needs a cubicle back home when you could share a desk in Thailand with fellow entrepreneurs.

CocoVivo, (Panama): This has to be one of the most unique, remote work environments out there. At CocoVivo, go hiking, paddle boarding, or horseback riding, then return in time to use the solar-powered-Wi-Fi at a farm shack or waterfront bungalow to get some work done. Did we mention they have an inflatable trampoline and fruit trees?

Agora Collective (Berlin): As goes in Berlin, this space is artsy with a capital A. In addition to providing office space, Agora hosts exhibitions, films, music, artist interviews, and workshops like life drawing and practical shamanism.
