Trivago.es has published its ranking of the 100 most recommended destinations to visit in 2017 based on the online reputation of each hotel destination and the lowest average prices. This year there are eight Spanish destinations in the ranking.
The top Spanish destinations are Cangas de Onís (57/100), Santillana del Mar (58/100), Cuenca (78/100), León (88/100), Santiago de Compostela (90/100), Ronda 93/100), Nerja (94/100) and Oviedo (96/100).
Of all on the list, Cangas de Onís appears at the top, although Cuenca is best in terms of price with an average of €62.
At a global level, first position goes to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and generally speaking it’s the Eastern European destinations that offer the best value for money in accommodation in both big and small cities.
