Once again, Marbella becomes the flagship of luxury and fashion. The eyes of everyone from the industry are on the city from 5 to 8 June, during the ‘Fashion Week’

Marbella Luxury Weekend has been held once again this year, with the presence of the best brands in fashion, industry experts and haute cuisine professionals that have returned to put Marbella in the center of everyone’s attention.

The ‘Fashion Week’ in Marbella began on Thursday, June 5, with the opening of “Marbella Luxury Catwalk,’ a gateway on a floating pier which hosted the presentation of the latest news for this upcoming Fall-Winter season of the brands Wolford and Swarovski. At the same time, in the VIP area, the Opening Gala was held, with catering provided by the famed chef Dani García CocinaCONTRAdicción.

On Friday came the turn of the Forum of Brands & Trends La Zagaleta, where representatives from companies such as Bentley, Adolfo Dominguez and Telefonica discussed the components that a successful brand must have in the 21th century to differentiate it in a culture where more and more information is available at a ‘click’.

At night, on the floating runway, Custo Barcelona presented a selection of the models presented during Fashion Week in New York, highlighting the most chic and refined vision of his well-known graphics, splashes of color and combination of textures..

During the Marbella Luxury Weekend, there was also time to talk about the industry and enjoy a masterclass by several specialized bloggers such as Ana Antic, designer of celebrities that owns a popular blog.

One of the most important events of the day was the “Solidarity Treasures” raffle, organized by the SOS Foundation, which raised funds to help families with children at risk of social exclusion in Marbella and other Spanish cities. Various prestigious brands contributed with their products to the raffle.

There was also room for music and good. Different DJs animated the afternoons and evenings in Puerto Banus while attendees tasted different appetizers.

Restaurants, such as Aretusa, Black&White and Carpaccio Restaurants like Arethusa, Black & White offered glasses of champagne to their customers, as well Fashion brands organized special events, invited to cocktails and champagne with strawberries or presented exclusive collections. In each store, a unique experience was offered. Among others, Cartier presented its new collection “Amulette” and its new watch “Calibre Diver,” Tod’s held a workshop in customizing shoes and Salvatore Ferragamo showed ‘a thousand ways to wear a silk scarf.’

Once again, Marbella Luxury Weekend has managed again to add strength and quality to the brand of Marbella, as we await the next edition in 2015.
