This afternoon the semifinals of the Senior Masters Cup will take place at Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa Tennis Club. The program will open at 7:00 pm with Albert Costa and El Aynaoui, a prelude to the great semifinal that will star with John McEnroe and Mats Wilander at 9:00 pm
The complicity of the players at the Senior Masters Cup, the spectacle of tennis at the clay court and the opportunity to see in action international tennis legends marked the first day of the tournament. On the first day we saw advance to Moroccan Younes El Aynaoui won the French Sebastian Grosjean in a disputed match that lasted until super-tiebreak. Younes won 6-3, 6-7 (9) and 10-5.
Minutes later came the highlight of the opening day with Yannick Noah (winner of Roland Garros in 1983) and Mats Wilander (former world number one and winner of seven Grand Slams). The Swede won in two sets (7-6, 6-2) in a game that was full of fun details featuring by the captain of the French Davis Cup team.
