Portobellostreet.es introduces the new Chester designed by Javier Mariscal
For the designer, the challenge was to redesign this classic piece born in the XIX century with its distinctive quilted on the back. He decide to use a wide range of colors, playing with diamond quilting and where colors “are coming together and came upon inward, so that all upholstery pops out”.
For its implementation, they have respected the measures and traditional processes of sewing and quilting, adapting them to the designer’s creativity, ultimately resulting in a groundbreaking piece that merges two worlds so far away, as is the classic furniture with a contemporary design.
The sofa can choose from several color schemes, as well as in different sizes.
