More and more hotels offer free WiFi, photo booths for selfies or docks for iPod and iPhone

It is almost inconceivable today to travel and stay in a hotel that does not have WiFi. The essential requirement is not only to access the Internet, but do it for free from anywhere in the hotel.
The clients of a hotel want to enjoy the same amenities as they do at home. In fact, 85% of guests need to have WiFi in the hotel, according to the data from the SmartBrief technology.

As the study of this company points out, 45% of users travel with two devices with Internet accessibility, while 40% do so with three or more.

Clearly, having WiFi is more than required for hotel chains. Therefore, advance technology and innovation is a priority to offer guests the best experience. So, more and more hotels have tablets in common areas and rooms as well as musical devices with USB connection or docks for your iPod or iPhone for the guests to relax as if at home or dance to their favorite music.

At Blue Diamond Riviera Maya***** DeLuxe all suites have CD and DVD, HDTV, home theater system and cable television.

On the other hand, there are hotels that bet on social networks and real-time interaction with guests to facilitate access to their accounts with digital and tactile totems so that they share their experience at the hotel.

BlueBay Grand Esmeralda***** has recently installed a totem at the resort for customers to take a more fun ‘selfie’ photograph and share it with their friends. They just have to get close, put on their best smile and have fun, all shared using the hashtag #bluebaygrandesmeralda.

Digital totems also serve to access exclusive amenities and to book a massage at the spa or a private moonlight dinner for two.

If daily life has become a series of clicks, tactile devices and infinite internet … why not take the everyday on vacation as well?
