On July 12, 21 and 29, and August 7, 15 and 24, six guest countries have been invited to go head to head in this international festival where they will try to win the Silver Vestale and qualify for the champion of champions Gold Vestale that is held every four years.
And for music lovers, there’s the Ramatuelle Jazz Festival, another classic on the summer calendar in Cannes that takes place from the 16th to then 20th of August. The festival has been on the go for more than 30 years, and this summer gives special attention to American and French jazzmen with a combination of new acts and well-known stars on the line-up. The festival has organised free concerts each night alongside the original lineup to promote musicians from the region.
Another important music festival in the city is the Menton Music Festival. The festival has been bringing the world’s leading classical musicians together in the French Rivier since 1950, and from July 28th until August 13th there are outdoor concerts in front of the port in the square of the Church of San Miguel Arcángel.
