Murex beer, with its different varieties, is growing by leaps and bounds

It has only been around for two years and it is already positioned as a beer with character. It was born in 2013 with the aim of “recovering traditional flavors of authentic craft beer and flavors of Malaga’s Axarquia.” It is a craft beer and it is produced with much care and effort.

Since then, it has grown exponentially in production and recognitions. It has six different varieties: Raisins Triple Malta, Amber, Sugarcane, Double Malta, Black and Blonde, all with unique flavors. Among them, the Sugarcane stands out, with juice extracted directly from the plant but without giving it a sweet taste.

Murex factory is located in the town of Vélez Málaga where they will attempt to double the current production of 3,000 liters per week.
