Madrid hosts the second edition of the event on Friday 24th of February and this year will have 15 winners in different categories
The International Tourism Communication (PICOT) Awards are being held in Madrid this Friday for the second time, but this year with some new surprises. In this edition, there are now 15 categories instead of 12, a new statuette and a seal of quality to endorse the finalists and winners.
The categories for the awards are: Best Travel Section in Non-Tourism Support, Best Online Travel Magazine, Best Radio Travel Programme, Best Travel Portal, Best Foreign Travel Support, Best Travel Supplement from Generalist Press, Best Travel Blog, Best Active Tourism Promotion Support, Best Tourism Information Support, Best Travel Magazine, New Tourism Information Project, New Comer Travel Blog Award, Best TV Tourism Promotion Programme, Professional of Tourism Information Special Award, and Special Professional Career Award.
A jury made up of professionals from the sector will be responsible for selecting the winners.
