Countdown to the WTM: Brexit & tourism debate

Leaders from the tourism sector will discuss the impact of Brexit on inbound and outbound tourism

The World Travel market (WTM) tourism fair is set to put all eyes on will Brexit. A session is planned on the first day of the fair on November 7th to examine the impact on both inbound and outbound British tourism.

Some studies are already showing that tourism will be one of the most affected sectors by Brexit and this is set to be the biggest change for the UK since the Second World War.

Chris Mottershead, managing director of Thomas Cook for the UK and Ireland, Terry Williamson, CEO of Jac Travel, Andrew Swaffield, CEO of the Monarch Airlines group and Patrick Richards, the CCO of Cox & Kings will all participate in the debate.

 

The WTM takes place in London from the 7th to 9th of November, and the debate will be held on the first day of the fair at 4pm in the Inspire Theatre Hall.
