The Balearic Islands are ideal for cycling whether you are professional, amateur or simply to enjoy the environment in a means of transport, which will allow you to admire the most, the landscape you cross

The preseason training carry out by several professional and amateur teams in the islands prove the quality of infrastructure, the mild climate of the islands and their landscapes in order to complement the good conditions for cyclist of all kinds. Within the archipelago, the Majorca Island offers different routes either among the towns of the island or the Tramuntana Mountain where you can enjoy this sport.

The first route we recommend is Palma-Andratx with a distance of approximately 65 kilometres. The route runs along a mountain road overlooking the sea and stunning landscapes in each curve. This country trip passes by part of the Tramuntana Mountain, declared as World Heritage Sites and goes through the South Majorca. The route is very accessible as no mountain port is a huge obstacle for a cyclist.

The second route that we would like to talk connects the towns of Palma and Puerto de Sóller, which has a distance of 90 kilometres. This is a bike route for skilled cyclists as it has a large number of slopes. In the following itenary, you go through the four most emblematic villages of the Tramuntana Mountain such as Espoles, Valldemossa, Deià and Sóller.
