The DNA of this season is the quality of the skin. María Soláns, makeup artist and Director of the Mery Make Up School and Makeup Agency looks at makeup trends that will be using for the forthcoming Spring/Summer season.
“A correct face cleansing and hydration it is important in order to have a new real and glowing skin”, states the makeup artist María Soláns. The beauty line to follow will enhance feminity without losing the touch of youthfulness, which is full of freshness and naturalness.
- Palettes colours: Makeup is placed on the eye-shaped, a single colour and applied irregularly. The trendy colours are pool blues and green aquamarine palettes as well as citrus tones, non-fluorescent. This year the colours are primary.
- Overlapping false eyelashes to create a different look: The next Spring-Summer 2016 trend will be to place extra eyelashes overlapping the false eyelashes. An overlap will be created that will show a perfect and nice result, although is laborious.We will use the mascara to seal the natural lashes with the fake ones. In case there are any lumps do not pose any problem, as this season the stain is fashionable. This trend refers to the dolls sweetness.
- “Strobing” is coming up: This technique is named in honour of the Strobe product (MAC) used on it’s own or mixed with moisturizer. This product does not only bring light to the face due to the pearlescent pigments it has, but also provides vitamins to the skin, giving as a resulted final quality and brightness to the skin. An advantage of this product is that it can also be applied after our makeup, but only in specific areas and can even be applied on the lips. María Soláns recommend for oily skin to apply the product in the subtlest of ways in order to control the brightness.
- Red yellow tones to raspberries and cherries red lips: Applying contour freely even you can put lipstick one millimetre beyond, this is to say, a childish style with grotesque effects, almost without thinking. Finished textures in gloss and matt.
- “Teen Spirit” Nails: We will cover the nails with denims, crackle and even a peeling off effect similar to a teenager style. We also dare with different nail colours by mixing nail varnish colours. The nail shape is short without forgetting the retro-oval shape.
In addition to the makeup trends, the professional makeup artist stated that we would go for a XL Long bob, beyond the shoulder in a straight style. However, the wavy style of these cuts is more versatile and allows a different stylistic expression.
