International tourism live a great moment. We traveled. And we travel a lot. In 2014, the number of international tourists grew 4.7% to 1.100 million people. Spain is one of the recipient countries. But overall, what are the most visited cities on the planet?
The Euromonitor International company produces an annual global ranking with cities that receive more visitors. We have now known the data collected and verified in 2013. And the winner city is Hong Kong, with 25,587,300 arrivals, 7.6 percent more than in 2012.
The ranking shows that over a third of all destinations are in the Asia-Pacific region, and within the top 10, six are Asian cities, including the first three places: Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok.
The first Spanish city that receive more tourists a year is Barcelona, ranked 25th in the list
