Habana full of art

Thousands of visitors come every year to rediscover it through historic buildings.

It wouldn’t occur to almost anyone thinking on coming to Havana to plan a route through the city buildings marked by art. And it certainly has a rich variety of constructions influenced by art nouveau, art deco and eclectic among others.

The starting point of the route would be at the Bacardi building (1930), with French influence and a staggered body, crowned by a tower covered by a bronze bat, symbol of the rum company.

Another famous building is the Capitol, an exact half-size replica of the US Capitol in Washington, for a long time the tallest building in the city.

The Fausto theater, the building of the University of Havana and the Central Railway Station are other buildings worth putting on your to-visit list.

If you enjoy your holidays at BelleVue Puntarena Playa Caleta**** or BelleVue Palma Real****, a relax road trip of only 140 kilometers will take you to Habana. Would you like to discover the capital of Cuba from another point of view?
