Malaga, the most dynamic destination in Spain thanks to its commitment to culture

Malaga is presented in Madrid Tourism Fair, Fitur 2015, as the most dynamic destination in Spain, with a unique cultural offer.

The city stands out to be an attractive destination and well connected to major destination markets worldwide. This year, Malaga presented at the XXXV edition of the International Tourism Fair, among other great tourism attraction, the Pompidou Centre and the collection of the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the two new cultural centers will open next spring.

Malaga Councilor of Tourism, Julio Andrade was convinced that this new cultural concept has helped growing domestic market, which in 2014 recorded the first time in history the city has over a million travelers staying and two million overnight stays. Moreover, Andrade has said that Malaga has placed the culture and museums in the center of a new stage of development. “The city has a museum reference offer and has become, after Madrid and Barcelona, the third city in Spain with the best cultural offer,” he said. Furthermore, Contemporary Art Center (CAC) is among the most prestigious museums in Europe and the Picasso Museum is the most visited of Andalusia.
