More than 150 representatives from tourism sector meet at BlueBay cocktail, prior to Cancun Travel Mart

Cancun, October 15th, 2017-  BlueBay Hotels, the eighth Spanish hotel company by international presence and the tenth largest hotel group regarding hotel rooms[1], held the “Möet & Chandon BlueBay” party in authentic 1920s style at the luxurious Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel. More than 150 guests connected to the tourism sector attended the event including tour operator and online travel agency executives. The cocktail party coincided with the Cancun Travel Mart, during which the management team of BlueBay Hotels held several business meetings with agents and local tour operator. Cancun Travel Mart (CTM) is the most relevant annual event in Mexico that aims to promote the country as a tourist destination. A market where BlueBay Hotels has been present in since 2010, and now the Spanish company has reinforced its commitment in Mexico by complementing its offer with the addition of six new hotels in upmarket areas in Mexico City. In total, the Spanish company now has ten hotels with more than 3600 beds in the country.

BlueBay Hotels has been present in Mexico since 2010 and now has ten hotels with more than 3600 beds in city and touristic locations.

The Spanish hotel group’s presence in Mexico has been steadily increasing. Until August of this year, it had four hotels in coastal areas, Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel, BlueBay Grand Esmeralda, BlueBay Punta Serena Villas & Spa and BlueBay Los Ángeles Locos. In September 2017, it added six hotels in Mexico City to its portfolio: Suites Aristóteles 140 by BlueBay, Suites Aristóteles 225 by BlueBay, Suites Hipólito Taine by BlueBay, Suites Oklahoma by BlueBay, Suites Royal Colonial by BlueBay and Suites Tennyson by BlueBay.
