Avoiding toxins

The toxins are found in many of the foods we eat every day, they are dangerous to our body and can cause many health problems. If you do not want to ingest toxins, follow these steps.

  1. Avoid drinks and foods with bright colors and strong flavors because it is common that contain days colors made with coal tar toxin. Bright colors are obtained from coal tar and used to color products normally sold for children. The American Cancer Society has determined that coal tar intake of food is a known cause of cancer.
  1. Avoid processed meat, such as salami, bologna. These contain the toxin called sodium nitrate, which prevents the development of bacteria on meat. Sodium nitrate is mixed with stomach acid and form nitrosamines. It has been found that this substance can produce many kinds of cancer in human organs.
  1. Buy foods that are not processed. Processing is the transformation of pure ingredients in food factory. Most foods are processed with chemicals.
  1. Read the labels on food packages you buy. Avoid those containing additives like toxin called monosodium glutamate or MSG, which is a poison for the body.
  1. Use raw sugar or natural sweeteners like stevia instead of artificial sweeteners, which are chemicals.
  1. Buy meat, eggs and organic milk that do not containing hormones. 85% of the meat sold in the United States contains the hormone diethylstilbestrol. It has been demonstrated that this hormone produces breast and reproductive organs cancer.
  1. Buy organic fruits and vegetables that do not contain toxic pesticides. The risks associated with the intake of pesticides include Parkinson’s disease, nerve damage, some forms of cancer, spontaneous abortions and birth defects.
