Sick and tired of the city? Chaos, noise, pollution, and the constant rush are some of the main reasons to escape to the mountains and enjoy a few relaxing days in the countryside. If this sounds like it’s for you then remember to pack your vanity case so you’ll look and and feel great 24 hours a day during your break.

  1. Cleansing your skin every morning and night is an essential part of the perfect facial beauty routine. After, you should apply a toner with a cotton pad and massage over your entire face.
  1. Cold air dries out your skin, so apply a moisturiser in the morning and again at night to maintain a radiant look. And if need be, you could also use a serum once or twice a week to boost moisturising.
  1. Choosing the right makeup is a simple as choosing you holiday destination. Make sure they are both in harmony, whether you’re heading for the countryside or the mountains, the best option is to go for natural makeup that fits in with the surroundings. Don’t use bright colours on your lips; keep your eyes simple with neutral tones shades and a soft touch of blusher to add a natural blush to your cheeks.
  1. Remember long walks in the mountains can end up hurting your feet. Apply a special protective foot cream to prevent blisters from ruining your walk and your pedicure.
  1. Wind and humidity affect your hair so use a serum or an anti-frizz mask and remember to brush your hair daily. If you use hair-dryers, curlers, or straighteners make sure to put them on the lowest setting as they can dry out your hair.
  1. In some areas the water is hard and this can leave your hair looking lustreless as it loses it shine and appears duller. To prevent this happening, use a good treatment to neutralise the lime and remove the impurities and give your hair back the tone and radiance it deserves.
